Tools Marketplace

Extend your bot beyond Q&A. Tools give it the ability to take actions — capture leads, process orders, hand off to a human, and more.

How tools work

Tools are installed at the workspace level and then enabled per bot. Once enabled, the bot automatically decides when to call a tool based on the conversation — you don't need to write any logic.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Marketplace and install a tool
  2. Open a bot, go to Settings → Tools and enable it
  3. Configure the tool (webhook URL, required fields, etc.) from Dashboard → Tools
  4. The bot is ready — no prompt engineering required
Each tool comes with a built-in system prompt rule that tells the bot exactly when and how to use it. You don't need to modify your bot's prompt.

Enabling a tool for a specific bot

Installing a tool in your workspace doesn't automatically enable it for all bots. This is intentional — you might want the e-commerce tool on your shop bot but not on your support bot.

To enable a tool for a bot: open the bot → Settings Tools tab → toggle the tool on.
